Jennifer Felten, principal owner and attorney of RELAW, APC, has been involved in real estate since 1993 and earned her Juris Doctorate with honors in 2006, combining her real estate expertise with legal knowledge to serve clients’ needs. Starting in customer service at a title company, she progressed to escrow officer, manager, and trainer, and holds certifications from the California Escrow Association. An active member of the Ventura County Escrow Association since 1997, she has served as president twice. With extensive litigation experience in real estate, breach of contract, title insurance, and insurance defense, Ms. Felten also handles transactional matters for real estate clients, including licensing, business entity management, and mergers. She provides general counsel to escrow companies, title companies, real estate brokerages, and tech firms. Her real estate education includes completing coursework for a California Real Estate Broker’s License at UCLA. Ms. Felten has been invited to speak and write for various industry organizations, including the California Escrow Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Erik Nasarenko was elected Ventura County District Attorney on June 7, 2022, after his unanimous appointment by the Board of Supervisors the prior year. As the County’s top prosecutor overseeing more than 100 deputy district attorneys and 58 sworn investigators, Erik has initiated specialized efforts to prosecute fentanyl-based crimes, analyze untested rape kits, dismantle theft rings, and expand services to crime victims.
